SYLLABUS

Raising the alarm, action to be taken when alarm operates, calling and liasing with the fire service, phased evacuation procedures and principals, fire protection measures in the premises.
Fire development, fire hazards, human behaviour, evacuation of non-ambulant persons, practical use of a fire blanket, use and limitations of fire extinguishers.

Suitable for staff in Residential care Premises, Nursing Homes, Hospitals.

DURATION 2 x 1hr courses (6 months apart)
